Great Bay Community College Herons Soar into YSCC Semi-Finals with 103-75 Victory Over Paul Smith's College

Portsmouth, NH – The Great Bay Community College Herons men's basketball team advanced to the Yankee Small College Conference (YSCC) Semi-Finals after an emphatic 103-75 win over Paul Smith's College in the Quarterfinal round on Saturday, February 22, 2025. The game was played at Great Bay Community College in Portsmouth, NH, with the Herons dominating from start to finish.

Great Bay set the tone early, outscoring the Bobcats 47-31 in the first half, and kept their momentum in the second half, adding 56 points to seal the decisive victory. The Herons' high-powered offense shot an impressive 58% from the field and 52.6% from three-point range, showcasing their efficiency on both ends of the court.

Key Performers for Great Bay:

  • Theodore Wolfe led all scorers with a dominant 35-point, 20-rebound double-double, shooting 15-for-21 from the field and adding 3 assists and 1 block.
  • Mpore Semuhoza contributed 17 points and 9 rebounds, hitting 5-for-6 from the free throw line.
  • Ethan May added 11 points, 5 assists, and 3 rebounds, playing a key role in locking down Zion Mifflin for Paul Smith's.
